is kathmandu running out of cooking gas?

Kathmandu is currently facing some challenges with cooking gas supply due to a landslide blocking the main highway, which has forced LPG cylinders to be transported via alternative routes. Despite this, about four lakh gas cylinders were distributed in Kathmandu Valley within 10 days, showing efforts to meet demand. However, there is still a daily shortfall of around 15,000 cylinders, which has caused prices to rise from Rs 2,060 to Rs 2,165.38. The administration is actively warning sellers against hoarding or refusing to sell gas to prevent further shortages.
