what's the status of flood relief efforts?

Flood relief efforts are ongoing but face significant challenges. Over 3,600 flood survivors in 37 centers are dealing with water shortages and mild illnesses due to damaged infrastructure. Thousands remain displaced with unclear relocation plans and are at risk of facing winter without adequate shelter or support. The government has allocated monthly cash relief of up to Rs 15,000 for affected families in five districts for six months. The Prime Minister's Relief Fund has collected nearly Rs 14 billion, with Rs 1 billion already spent on flood relief. However, many victims have endured chaotic conditions in holding centers, and schools in affected areas have been shut down temporarily.
